Dr. Sumedha Sahni, MD, is a Gold medallist from Mumbai University, who continued at her teaching hospital as Associate Professor before moving into the private sector. She helped set up a Clinical Reference Laboratory - SRL Ranbaxy (now SRL Diagnostics), leading it as the scientific head and achieving numerous firsts in India, including the CAP and NABL Accreditations.
As Director Quality & Head of Satellite Clinics for Welcare UAE (now Mediclinic), she started their JCIA journey and implemented innovative, effective and profitable multi-disciplinary clinic and ambulatory care operations. As a Johns Hopkins Director of Laboratories for the Tawam Hospital Health System under HAAD and SEHA for 7 years, she drove quality, Emiratization and new services, achieving JCIA and CAP accreditations. She received the Arab Health Award 2011 and was shortlisted for the Abu Dhabi Medical Distinction Award and Arab Health Award in 2013. She established the Center of Excellence for Genetic & Metabolic Diseases at Tawam Hospital and was a significant contributor to the transformation of Abu Dhabi’s public sector healthcare system.
Passionate about the correct use of technology to support medical best practices, Sumedha successfully delivered an online Fellowship course in specialized Radiology education and training in Ethiopia with Johns Hopkins & Ver2 Digital Medicine. More recently, she headed Medical Affairs for Becton Dickinson (BD) in the EMA region.
Her abiding passion is to uplift healthcare through driving best practices, adoption of quality standards, training and efficient delivery systems for achieving better patient outcomes. She also conceptualizes, designs and implements integrated healthcare delivery programs that are practical, economical and sustainable.

Dr. Sunil Tadepalli is an entrepreneur and consultant with extensive experience in the healthcare domain. In the past, he has led teams delivering high quality healthcare services that are profitable in highly competitive and priceconscious developing markets.
After receiving his MD (Biochemistry) from AIIMS, Dr. Tadepalli worked with leading Indian corporates like Wipro and Ranbaxy and was Vice President of Laboratory Operations at Gulf Healthcare International in Dubai. As the Director of Centogene India, a subsidiary of Centogene AG that he set up, he successfully launched their genetic testing services in India and developed a sustainable business model. The Indian subsidiary was fully acquired by Centogene in 2019.
Sunil is passionate about the use of Information Technology in the clinical laboratory industry and has developed several innovative solutions for Artificial Intelligence, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Ecommerce and Document Management with a consulting company, Labnetworx.
In addition to providing consultancy in technology-driven solutions for the Middle East and Africa, he is deeply involved in the Rare Disease segment, creating tools for supporting physicians and patients, including developing a personal health record application using Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), Google Cloud and Flutter. Sunil is a Senior Partner at Sumedha Sahni FZ-LLC.
